GLS is a registered trademark for the Global Listing Service.

The marketing of real property, including land for sale, houses for sale, homes for sale, rental, lease, commercial, investment, development, income and all properties for sale are aggregated for marketing and cooperative commission purposes (co-op).

GLS is a registered mark pertaining to the combined listing service, which includes all properties for sale worldwide. Look for the GLS Logo when searching real estate.

Primarily in the United States real estate market, but also with International real estate in Europe and other countries, there are listing databases for real estate and properties of all types: for sale, rent, lease and exchange.

GLS is a registered mark pertaining to the combined listing service including all properties for sale worldwide. This includes Land, Development, Homes, New Construction, Income, Multi-Family, Foreclosure, Pre-foreclosure, Bank-Owned, REALTOR® listed, FSBO (For Sale By Owner), Rental, Lease, Apartment, Condo, Time-Share, Vacation, Commercial and any other types of real property listed worldwide with the Global Listing Service.

The GLS designation assures that the full property information is gathered, presented and distributed in a standardized format. Similar examples are present in the Real Estate industry worldwide, including: MLS, IDX, VOW, ILD, RETS and other standards.

The Global Listing Service

The Global Listing Service goes beyond the previous standards by encompassing all property and data types and feeds into a single aggregated source. Brokers, portals, agents, websites and other parties may display or utilize the GLS data via licensing agreement(s).

REALTOR®, Broker/Agent, and MLS listings typically represent only a subset of the GLS data, although many MLS Boards and MLS System Providers are licensing GLS data to provide to their REALTORS® and real estate buyers and sellers.

The Real Estate industry traditionally has worked to protect the co-op payments to real estate agents and brokers by strict control of the property data. This approach is less effective in today’s global real estate market where an international viewership and buyer/seller base now seeks real property info, homes for sale and more in a single source or destination website.

The Global Listing Service properties data feed permits real estate professionals to present the full global property suite: for sale, rent/lease, and exchange listings directly from their REALTOR®, Agent, Broker or Lender web page and website(s).
